The Milngavie Heritage Centre took part at the BBC's new project The Great British Story.
Glasgow hosted the event in the Riverside Museum and the Tall Ship, in a packed with activities event for the whole family.

The Centre had a table and display material promoting its services and the Douglas Academy oral History project.
There was a good crowd at the event and a lot of excitement and positive feedback on the Centre's work and the Douglas Academy's heritage banners.

Representatives from the Centre were ready to answer any questions and collect feedback and comments from the public, which in its majority came from outside East Dunbartonshire.

Once more Milngavie's name pronunciation and origin and the Bennie Railplane attracted the most interest!
